From a young age, Laura de Toro has been involved in high-level competitive sports, a period that shaped her character and instilled the values that define her career today: discipline, perseverance, and passion. At just 24, she opened her first studio and embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that, with vision and dedication, has evolved into a well-established business.
In 2006, she founded NEXES with the aim of offering an innovative and professional approach to Pilates. Drawing on her experience, training, and sensitivity to the body and movement, she developed the NEXES method, an exclusive and transformative system based on the combination of the Reformer and Cadillac, meticulous preparation of each session, and personalized attention focused on the client’s physical and emotional development.
Laura’s vision is constantly evolving. A lover of art, culture, and excellence, she has successfully translated her sensitivity and commitment to quality into every aspect of NEXES: from the architecture, design, and decoration of its spaces, to team training, methodological development, and customer service.
As a leader, she stands out for her ability to build a valuable and successful team, and for her innate talent for identifying people’s potential, trusting in it, and helping them grow. Her observant, creative, and curious nature allows her to continue evolving, inspiring others, and staying connected to industry trends and needs.
With sustained growth, NEXES has established several studios in various cities across Spain and has positioned itself as a nationally recognized brand for its innovation, proprietary methodology, and excellence. In 2023, it began its expansion through franchising, and in 2025, it went international with the opening of new studios in Europe, starting with Switzerland and France.
